Searching for images by Date

This article is to help SOTA Cloud users search for missing images under the wrong patient or a duplicate account by using the Date range Tool.

  1. Open SOTA Cloud

  2. Click Patient List

  3. To the right of the Search bar, you will see the Range Option, which allows you to search for images by date and time.

    1. If you have only one location attached to your SOTA Cloud site, click the range button and enter the date and time range when you could have taken the images.

    2. If you work for a dental practice with multiple locations linked to one SOTA Cloud site, first click the option labeled "All Locations" to the right of the Range button before setting the date and time. This will help you determine if the images were taken under the wrong location.

  4. Click Apply and review the results.

    a. Check the list for duplicate patients. If you find a duplicate patient and want to merge them, review this article: Merging Patients. If there is no duplicate patient, proceed to the next step.

    b. Write down each patient who appears in the search results.

    c. Return to the search patients window and search for each patient to see if the images were taken under the wrong patient. If so, reassign the missing images to the correct patient. Here is an article explaining that process: Reassign Exams.
