How to Take a Full Series of Images (FMX)

This guide will demonstrate the process of capturing a full mouth series of images within an exam.

  1. Selecting the First Placeholder:

    • Begin by clicking on the first placeholder in your series. Any placeholder can be chosen to start the series.
  2. Series Progression:

    • Once the first placeholder is selected, the series will proceed through all placeholders in sequence.
    • For instance, if you click on placeholder one, it will capture images for all four placeholders. Similarly, selecting placeholder three will begin the series from that point onward.
  3. Default Device Selection:

    • By default, the system will choose the appropriate device for the placeholder type, based on your predefined defaults.
    • For example, if the default intraoral sensor is set to Cleo sensor, it will be automatically selected.
  4. Changing Device (Optional):

    • If necessary, modify the device selection by clicking on the device options.
    • For demonstration purposes, switch to the demo device to proceed with the series.
  5. Initiating Automatic Series Capture:

    • To automatically capture images for the entire series, click the "Auto" button.
    • When the placeholder turns green, it indicates readiness for image capture.
  6. Capturing Images:

    • Expose the sensor to radiation to capture the image.
    • The image will be uploaded, and the system will proceed to the next placeholder in the series.
  7. Repeat Process:

    • Repeat this process for all placeholders in the series that require images.
