      How to Add A Placeholder To An Exam In Progress

      Adding placeholders to an exam in SOTA Cloud is a convenient feature that allows you to expand the scope of your examination on the go.

      1. Access Exam in Progress:

      • Start or open the exam you're currently working on in SOTA Cloud.

      2. Identify Placeholder Addition:

      • Decide which type of placeholder you want to add to your exam. Options include x-ray camera, video, or panoramic placeholders.

      3. Drag and Drop:

      • Click on the type of placeholder you want to add from the available options.
      • Using the drag handles located at the top left corner of the placeholder, drag it into the desired position within the exam layout.

      4. Configure and Capture:

      • Once the placeholder is in place, configure any settings such as selecting the device.
      • Proceed to capture images or videos using the added placeholder as needed.

      5. Versatility of Feature:

      • It's important to note that you're not limited to the modalities already present in your exam.
      • At any point during the exam, you can add placeholders for any modality, offering flexibility and adaptability to your examination process.

      Example Scenario:

      • For instance, if you initially started an intraoral camera exam but later decided to capture a video clip, you can add a video placeholder while still working with the patient and seamlessly proceed to record a one-minute video clip.
