Filter Setup Instructions
If the user is converting to SOTA Cloud from a previous imaging software i.e. CS Imaging, Kodak, Apteryx
You should be working with a clinical decision-maker at the practice for filter tuning. Verify you are talking to a clinical decision-maker before continuing.
-
Verify the user’s x-ray tube settings are in agreement with the technique factors chart for their x-ray head. See the documentation on general filter tuning for details on this step: General X-ray Image Quality Troubleshooting*
-
Determine what software the customer had previously, open it, and take note of their filter settings.
-
Open the SOTA Hub settings menu for Carestream
-
Configure the CS Filter Preset based on the previous imaging system settings
-
Take an x-ray and verify with the clinical decision-maker that the filters are as expected. If not, work with them to iterate through the available settings for their device until they are satisfied.
